Howdy from the Forsters
We are proud to celebrate our Annual Production Sale with you. We have been providing the industry with reputable
genetics for 56 years. I would like to give an extended thank you to all our friends/customers, and family who make this
possible for us.
This is our first year doing an Online Auction Only Sale. We are very excited about it. Its going to go through DVAuction.
You will need to register prior to bidding at www.dvauction.com. The bulls will be available for viewing in their pens from
February 14-19, 2023 at Forster Ranch. If you are unable to make it in this time frame, you are more then welcome to stop
by the ranch at any time to view them. Bidding will open on Tuesday, February 14th at 8:00 am MT and will close Sunday,
February 19th at 5:00 pm MT. Extended bidding will start at 5:00 pm or 5 minutes prior. This means if there is a bid at 4:55
pm MT, bidding will stay open on ALL lots for another 5 minutes. This will continue until no more bids are being placed.
There must be a 5-minute period with no bids before bidding closes. We are happy to take bids for individuals that are not
able to do so on their own or need help with the bidding process.
These bulls were born in late spring of 2021 and weaned in November with no creep. They are put on a high roughage diet
until spring. The calves are then turned out to pasture like summer yearlings. Prior to the sale we will supplement them
some to get ready for sale day. Our bulls are grown out and NOT finished out. Forster Red Angus believes this will ensure
a better breeding bull that will have less maintenance and breed more cows for a longer servicing career. We have a lot of
customers that continue to compliment us on how well our bulls stand up and how long they last.
In 2022 I was blessed with another grandson, Vann Ray Gorrell. That makes 8 total grandkids! Zane & Melissa moved to
Dickinson this past year and Donny is JH wrestling. Seth and his kids are doing well. Carter has started basketball on a
traveling team. Clint & Kaitlyn are living in Beach on their ranch and are brand new parents. Libby & Tate are living in
Dickinson and their boys are sure growing up! Dak is in jiu jitsu and loving it. Thankful that Libby did our ads again for me
this year! Grandma Sally is keeping up with all of us and is doing well.
If any of you need help in your selection, feel free to let us know and we will be more than willing to help you out in any
way we can. You are also more than welcome to stop by the ranch and view our cattle at any time.
We look forward to seeing you at the sale!
Sincerely,
Kenny Forster and Family
